Future Generation Investment Company Limited (FGX) announced early this week that Act for Kids was one of the selected Australian charities to receive part of a $1.64 million donation. FGX specified the purpose of the donation was to support local Australian charities who are changing the lives of vulnerable children in Australia.

FGX’s charitable objectives were communicated clearly outlining to shareholders that the purpose for investment was to assist children’s charities’ work, to help children at risk.

Dr Neil Carrington said FGX’s corporate philanthropy has given Act for Kids an additional opportunity to help more abused and neglected kids.

“Unfortunately, our field of work is one of Australia’s most misunderstood social problems and it is our mission to ensure all children in Australian have a happy childhood. Each year we strive harder to help provide support to more children and FGX have given us the perfect opportunity to be able to help more kids.

“We are sincerely grateful for the opportunity FGX have given us. The funds will go towards growing our Integrated Therapy Services in Queensland, South Australia and establishing our new centre in New South Wales,” Dr Carrington said.
