Thank you for supporting Act for Kids’ Change for Kids Giving Day. In an effort to assist you with your fundraising efforts, we have provided a range of tools to help you to communicate with your friends, family and colleagues and seek support for your fundraising campaign. I believe that child protection is everyone’s business….which is why I am supporting Act for Kids’ Change for Kids Giving Day.

Act for Kids believes that every child deserves a safe and happy childhood. For over 33 years, they have worked to help keep kids safe, heal from trauma and lead happy lives.

Last year, over 174,700 Australian children accessed child protective services. That’s 1 in every 32 Aussie kids! During that same period, Act for Kids helped over 49,000 children and families.

I am proud to be supporting Act for Kids’ Change for Kids Giving Day – and I am hoping you might be able to support me and my fundraising efforts, so that together, we can make a change for kids.

Excitedly, all of the funds that I raise will be MATCHED by a pool of generous sponsors…this means that any donation will be DOUBLED. For example, if I raise $100 – it will be worth $200!

All funds raised will go towards Act for Kids’ Integrated Therapy Services – which provides Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy and Psychology services to children who need help to heal from the trauma they have suffered as a result of abuse and neglect.

The Act for Kids’ Giving Day is on Thursday 9 June, but I am starting my fundraising efforts early!
