Welcome to the Act for Kids 2024 International Women’s Day Lunch – a special celebration that promises an unforgettable experience!

When: From 11.30am arrival for 12pm start
Where: Water’s Edge, Level 2 (Above Dendy Cinema), Portside Wharf, 39 Hercules Street, Hamilton

Immerse yourself in spectacular river views as we come together to honour the incredible women in our lives, and help make sure all kids have a safe and happy childhood.

Enjoy a fabulous two-course lunch, two-hour drinks package, the chance to win a range of high-quality raffle prizes and an opportunity to network with like-minded people who all want to help keep kids safe, heal from trauma and lead happy lives.

Plus, hear from our special guest speaker, Chloe Shorten, national advocate for the rights of children and young people, alongside Kay McGrath OAM, dedicated child protection campaigner and Lifetime Ambassador for Act for Kids.

An advocate for gender equality and ending family violence, Ms Shorten has spent the past 30 years striving to improve the lives of women and children through her involvement in not-for-profit organisations. The mum-of-three has also written two books, is a board director and a communications specialist.

This not to-be-missed celebration is proudly presented in partnership with Budget Direct powered by Auto & General and Mercedes-Benz Brisbane.
