Use of Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies to personalise content and ads, to provide social media features and to analyse our website traffic. We also share information through pixel technology about your use of our site with our social media, advertising and analytics partners (e.g. Meta LinkedIn, Google) who may combine it with other information that you’ve provided to them or that they’ve collected from your use of their services.
The Meta Pixel may collect the following data:
- Http Headers – Anything that is generally present in HTTP headers, a standard web protocol sent between any browser request and any server on the internet. This information may include data like IP addresses, information about the web browser, page location, document, referrer and person using the website.
- Pixel-specific Data – Includes Pixel ID and the Facebook Cookie.
- Button Click Data – Includes any buttons clicked by site visitors, the labels of those buttons and any pages visited as a result of the button clicks.
Google: Google uses pixels to record data on page views, time spent on the site and visitor demographics.
The LinkedIn tag may collect the following data:
The LinkedIn Insight Tag enables the collection of data regarding visits to our website, including the URL, referrer, IP address, device and browser characteristics (User Agent), and timestamp. The IP addresses are truncated or hashed (when used for reaching members across devices), and members’ direct identifiers are removed within seven days in order to make the data pseudonymous.
All data collected via this pixel technology is anonymised, hashed, or encrypted and we cannot see or use your personal information.
You can manage your consent and adjust advertisement preferences via the cookie consent management popup and through settings on third-party platforms (Meta, Google, LinkedIn).
We encourage all website visitors to review and manage their privacy settings on their social media accounts to control their own data privacy. On Facebook you can do this by clicking on your photo icon in the top right of the screen. Navigate to Settings & privacy > Settings > Privacy Checkup, where you can adjust your advertising settings and review the information used to show you advertisements. On LinkedIn, you can manage your preferences by navigating to Me > Settings & Privacy > Advertising data, where you can control advertising targeting, third-party data sharing, and personalised advertising settings.
