Tom holds a Bachelor of Social Science and has worked in front line child protection for over 15 years. He has held front line roles ranging from Team Leader, Senior Practitioner, and Manager with the Department of Communities and Child Safety in Brisbane.
Tom has acted in senior executive roles throughout South East Queensland including Regional Director (Brisbane, Logan, Toowoomba and Western QLD) and Director of Placement and Support Services in Brisbane. He also worked as an Executive Office to two Director Generals and was Departmental Liaison Officer to two Minsters for Child Safety.

“I also have a strong belief that schools offer great support and lifelong impact on children at risk and vulnerable families and look forward to developing relationships with education partners to support the critical part educators play in the lives of children.”
