Interact club is Rotary International’s service club for young people between 12 and 18 years old. Interact clubs are sponsored by individual Rotary clubs, which provide support and guidance.

The club endeavours to work on a range of community projects on a local, national and international level. Each year, Interact clubs complete at least two community service projects to develop a network of friendships with local and overseas clubs and to learn the importance of:

  • developing leadership skills and personal integrity
  • demonstrating helpfulness and respect for others
  • understanding the value of individual responsibility and hard work
  • advancing international understanding and goodwill

Over the last three months the Interact Club of Willetton Senior High School (Western Australia) has been busy organising and initiating several fundraisers in support of Act for Kids. This involved many cake stalls, running a raffle for a beauty themed hamper and making and selling hand-crafted Father’s Day cards to raise awareness and funds.

Together, they raised almost $1,000 for Act for Kids. We greatly appreciate everyone that donated their time and effort to help make the fundraisers a huge success.
