Act for Kids major sponsor Vita Group held its annual conference recently on the Gold Coast and we were kindly invited along to connect with their team.
Act for Kids Fundraising and Events Coordinator Donna Miller, and Executive Director of Marketing, Communications and Fundraising Rob Williamson managed a stand throughout the three day conference, and said the connection with staff was fantastic.
It was a privilege to be invited to this outstanding event, said Rob. There was such a focus on engagement and our stand was flooded with people wanting to know more about what Act for Kids does.
As Vita Foundations chosen charity Act for Kids exhibited alongside major tech players including Telstra and Samsung, who were giving staff a sneak peek at gadgets and services to be released later this year.
The conference was attended by Vita Groups regional, area and store managers as well as other key staff. Earlier this year, Vita Group, through the Vita Foundation, committed $200,000 to Act for Kids to fund our protective behaviours program in schools across Australia.
With the continued support of the Vita Foundation, our Learn to be safe with Emmy and friends program is now national and we look forward to taking the program to even more schools in the future, said Rob.
