Our corporate partners and sponsors remain the backbone of many of our initiatives, providing us with vital funds to employ the best therapists to deliver our services.

The Vita Foundation – the philanthropic arm of Vita Group – continues to fund the national delivery of our Learn to be Safe with Emmy and Friends program, helping us teach over 10,000 children how to keep themselves safe last year.

Our school-based education program, Learn to be safe with Emmy and friends, teaches grade one children to identify when they don’t feel safe, and identify safe adults that they can turn to for help.

Vita Group CEO, Maxine Horne announced that the Vita Foundation will be donating close to $100,000 throughout this financial year.

“Our goal is to make a difference in our local communities, who mean everything to us,” said Vita Group CEO, Maxine Horne.

Act for Kids CEO, Dr Neil Carrington is humbled by the support of the Vita foundation and their long standing commitment to the organisation.

“Funding from the Vita Foundation has taken our protective behaviours program Learn to be safe with Emmy and friends to the next level; enabling us to reach a large number of primary school kids across Australia,” Dr Carrington said.

Through Vita’s corporate giving they have made an enormous contribution to help us prevent and treat child abuse and neglect in Australia.
