Smartline, long standing supporters of Act for Kids, recently presented Act for Kids CEO, Dr Neil Carrington, with a cheque for $5,000 towards the Brisbane Racing Carnival ‘Pin & Win’ fundraising promotion.

Act for Kids, as the official charity partner of the Channel Seven Brisbane Racing Carnival (11 May to 8 June), runs the ‘Pin & Win’ fundraising promotion, hoping to raise upwards of $15,000.

Racegoers can purchase the official Brisbane Racing Carnival lapel pin for $5. While raising valuable funds, each pin purchased also offers the chance to win a selection of great prizes, including a $3,000 major cash prize donated by Smartline.

Some of the Smartline team have also hit the turf joining other volunteers by lending a hand selling lapel pins at the BTC Cup Day on 11 May, collectively raising over $2,000 on the day.

We would like to say a big thank you to Smartline who have continued to support Act for Kids for over five years, and we appreciate the opportunity to raise funds throughout the 2013 Channel Seven Brisbane Racing Carnival.
