Virgin Australia Supercars team, Shell V-Power Racing held their annual members night at their Stapylton, QLD workshop recently.
Attended by 200 of their members, the evening was filled with stories and anecdotes from team owner and Australian motorsport legend Dick Johnson alongside the team’s current drivers Scott McLaughlin and Fabian Coulthard.
As a part of the evening, a charity auction was held where members could bid on a number of items including a signed race car bonnet, Brisbane Lions autographed Guernsey, Brisbane Heat signed cricket bat and more. The auction raised a grand total of $2500, which was donated to Act For Kids.
“It was fantastic to be able to hold this auction as a part of our annual member’s night, and to be able to donate some funds to a worthy cause in Act for Kids,” said Ben Nightingale, Media and Commercial Manager, Shell V-Power Racing Team.
