The Brisbane Qantas team have been throwing their energy into fundraising for Act for Kids. The team once again have taken Act for Kids’ cause and have already raised over $11,700 though merchandise and cake sales, raffles and their participation in this years’ Bridge to Brisbane day.

The funds raised will enable Act for Kids to expand their intensive therapy and early intervention programs to thousands of children, young people and families in Queensland and South Australia, so Act for Kids can help them overcome their challenges.

Act for Kids CEO, Dr Neil Carrington said they are truly grateful for Qantas and their continuous support.

“Some of the Brisbane Qantas team members have been long term volunteers at Act for Kids, helping at many of our events. It’s inspiring that their commitment has not faded over the years and now for the second year running, the whole team have pulled together to raise funds for us.

“The funds raised will support our intensive therapy and early intervention programs, helping families throughout Queensland and South Australia. We know there are kids and families in the immediate area who will benefit greatly from our therapy. Thanks to Qantas we can continue to give more people the chance to rebuild their lives and overcome their trauma,” Dr Carrington said.
