All around the world, International Women’s Day represents an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of women while calling for greater equality. Today, thousands of events are held throughout the world to inspire women and celebrate achievements

This year Act for Kids was chosen by Amanda Newbery as one of the six nominated beneficiaries of The Australian Institute of Management Annual Debate to celebrate International Women’s Debate in Brisbane. Amanda Newbery is the founder and Managing Director of Articulous, an award-winning communications and engagement organisation. She has worked with some of the country’s largest organisations including national government organisations.

The luncheon has been running for the past 18 years in Brisbane and on the day Act for Kids received a portion of the $53,600 raised through the raffle ticket sales.

A big thanks from Act for Kids for supporting us today at the Australian Institute of Management International Women’s Day Debate!
