For the first time this year Act for Kids was proud to be the official charity of the CMC Rocks, the Southern hemisphere’s biggest international country music festival, held at Willowbank Raceway in Ipswich.

On 13 March 2015, the three-day, three-night music festival rocked the world’s coolest country music from more than 35 hottest artists from Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom and United States.

Act for Kids Executive Director of Marketing, Communications and Fundraising, Rob Williamson, said Act for Kids had groups from Budget Direct, ConnectTel North and QBE Australia help out throughout the festival to help fundraise by collecting donations from the festival goers.

“Act for Kids volunteers conquered the CMC crowd of over 30,000 people raising over $3,700 in loose change donations for abused and neglected kids.

“We would like to thank all who donated and CMC Rocks, Chugg Entertainment and our wonderful volunteers for making this possible,” Rob Williamson said.
