Brisbane and Sunshine Coast photographer, Craig Holmes, is hoping to make a real difference to the lives of abused and neglected children by raising funds for Act for Kids through a limited edition coffee table book.

Craig Holmes is a national multi award winning and collected photographic artist, offering families over 40 years of professional experience. His portrait photography creatively captures the unique bonds and connections between family members and pets.

For just a $75 participation fee, Craig Holmes will photograph you with your pet and you’ll receive your own page in a hard copy photo book, Dogs and Their Families. The $75 participation fee is donated directly to Act for Kids.

“I’ve done a lot of work in remote Indigenous communities, specifically documenting portraits of Kowanyama people from the 1970s to the late 1990s. When I found out that remote Australia was home to the charity’s work with children and families, I felt compelled to do something that would help support the most disadvantaged and create positive change in the community for generations to come.

“Through my last book I raised over $15,000 for the RSPCA’s shelter refurbishment, so I’m hoping this book will help create awareness about Act for Kids and the important work they do in helping children overcome their experiences from abuse and neglect,” Craig said.
