The Gold Coast Act for Kids team proudly attended the Walk Together event, organised by advocacy group Welcome to Australia. 
There was over 20 events that took place around Australia on October 22nd, celebrating our Nations multiculturalism and diversity.
Act for Kids were proud to receive an award in recognition for our contribution and commitment to creating a multicultural community on the Gold Coast.
Held at the Broadwater Parklands, the event offered activities, cultural performances and stalls, followed by a free BBQ lunch after the walk.
It was a great Gold Coast multicultural community event and we are looking forward to being involved again next year, said Petronila Distor from Act for Kids.
