The Act for Kids team had a productive meeting on 21 January 2021 with our Ambassador & Operations Manager at the Australian Centre to Counter Child Exploitation (ACCCE) Inspector Jon Rouse.

We had the privilege of touring the Centre, where a team of highly trained investigators are having great success with tracking down offenders and identifying victims of child exploitation right across the world.

Sadly, we learnt there were more than 21,000 reports of child exploitation in 2019-2020. The team at ACCCE have a strong vision to make that number zero.

The national ACCCE centre based in Brisbane was founded on four pillars Prepare, Prevent, Protect and Pursue.

Together, we hope to raise more awareness and educate our supporters and partners about this horrific, but very real issue facing communities.
