A wonderful act of kindness was shown by the Townsville Twin Cities Rock n Roll Dance Club when they decided to donate their time to support Act for Kids.
On 24 April 2015 the dance club held a fundraising Rock n Roll charity event at Kirwan Tavern to support Australian charity Act for Kids. They hosted a spectacular night including dance competitions, prizes for best dressed as well as many giveaways on the night. The night raised over $1,000 with all proceeds going to Act for Kids.
Ellen Park, Fundraising Manager at Act for Kids, said we greatly appreciate everyone that donated their time and effort to help make the fundraiser a success.
We truly appreciate Townsville Twin Cities Rock n Roll Dance Clubs efforts to go to great lengths to raise awareness for Act for Kids. Their fundraising efforts will certainly make a difference in the lives of kids and families we work with who need some extra support to overcome their challenges, said Ellen Park.
