This month, Act for Kids hosted a Mad Hatter inspired High Tea Party to bring together like minded women and raise funds for abused and neglected kids!
Held at the deck of Southbank’s Ship Inn, it was a particularly sunny Saturday and the ladies were in high spirits! In keeping with the Mad Hatter theme, there was some fabulous fascinators and hats on display with guest Suzanne Manning (pictured) taking home top prize for the best hat!
Act for Kids Fundraising Manager Karen McIntyre said it was lovely to meet so many new people and get to share a bit more about the work that Act for Kids does.
“Small events are wonderful, because you really get the opportunity to connect with people on-on-one and understand why they’re passionate about your cause,” she said.
There were lucky door prizes and a raffle on the day, with prizes donated from Clovely Estate Wines, Colette, Butterfly Silver and Stefan.
