The 2015 Hats Off to Brisbane Millinery Convention culminated in the glamorous Imaginarium Masquerade Ball on 3 July 2015, that saw the Hilton ballroom filled with Australian and international milliners adorned in fabulous masks, headpieces and fashion.
The event celebrates the finale of the Australia Millinery Association Convention, which is held over one week at the end of June into July, teaching students all about the art of hats and headwear.
Hosted by Project Runways Leigh Buchanan, the evening featured a beautiful dinner, burlesque dancers and colourful acts.
Guest enjoyed a fashion parade come live auction, exhibiting 15 hand crafted headpieces designed by milliners in a Master Milliner Challenge during the week of the convention.
A special thank you to Alison Clark, a wonderful and long-standing supporter of Act for Kids.
All proceeds from the ball and live auction benefit Act for Kids.
