For the sixth year in a row, Capitol Body Corporate Administration hosted the annual Capitol Trivia Night on Saturday the 22nd of June raising $30,000 for kids who have suffered abuse and neglect!

Held at the Munich Brauhaus in Southbank, over 180 guests experienced a slice of Bavaria all in support of treating and preventing child abuse and neglect.

In true Bavarian style, steins were raised, pretzels were shared and the bier hall was filled with generous souls.

Capitol’s Business Development and Community Relationship Manager, Felicity Frewin, explained that Capitol’s Founding Director, Josephine D’Arcy, chose to support Act for Kids many years ago and will continue to do so.

“The Directors and team members recognise the fantastic service provided by the organisation and want to keep supporting, as we know Act for Kids can make a huge difference in children’s lives,” Felicity said.

Not all teams had a trivia triumph, but thanks to generous donations from local businesses and individuals, there were over $5,000 worth of prizes that were won by a few lucky individuals on the night.

The trivia questions were challenging and the teams were competitive, as many of the guests were seen dramatically singing and dancing in attempt to win more points to add to the score board.

We won’t tell you where the Act for Kids ‘Brains Wide Shut’ team ended up on the leader board, but their name hints their performance on the night.

To the team from Capitol and to all guests who donated and attended, thank you for hosting another spectacular event!
