Act for Kids has formed several meaningful alliances with partner organisations across Australia which each have a shared vision that aligns to the organisation’s overall purpose to help keep kids safe, heal from trauma and lead happy lives.
Gunawuna Jungai
Act for Kids has a proud allyship agreement in place with Gunawuna Jungai (GJ), an Aboriginal-owned and led organisation that represents the people of Doomadgee, including children and their respective family groups.
This follows many years of partnership between Act for Kids and the Doomadgee community to deliver the SafeKIDs program, which operates in the Aboriginal Community.
GJ empowers the voices of Doomadgee people to be heard ensuring that decisions that affect them, are made by them, to pave their own future.
Allies for Children
Allies for Children is a committed partnership of Chief Executives working across the child, youth and family sector to ignite long term, positive outcomes for vulnerable children, young people, and families.
Allies for Children collectively share knowledge, resources and advocate for better policies and systems to improve reform in child protection and inspire positive change.
e-kidna
e-kidna is a partnership that grew from the passion of three national child protection organisations – Act for Kids, Bravehearts and the Daniel Morcombe Foundation – collaborating in the fight against child sexual abuse.
