Ethan’s Story

At six years old Ethan’s family had already been the subject of over 30 domestic violence reports.

Jackson’s Story

Jackson was removed from his parents and placed into care within the first few weeks of his little life. He was born substance-addicted and experienced withdrawals from the moment he was born.

Dean’s Story

Burned with cigarettes, bitten and sexually abused by multiple adults, physically abused and neglected by his mum, Dean was taken into care at six years old.

Lacey-Jane’s Story

Neglected and scared, four-and-a-half year old Lacey-Jane began running away from prep school.

Thomas’ Story

At three years old Thomas could barely walk or speak, and his body was covered in scratches.

Jessica’s Story

When mum got drunk, Jessica, aged three, would hide for hours in a darkened stairwell to try and avoid being beaten.

Grace’s Story

At four years old, Grace experienced an extremely traumatic removal from her parents during which she witnessed violence, verbal abuse and threats. She had been exposed to domestic and family violence for years, parental drug use and was severely neglected.

Caleb’s Story

At four years old, Caleb was frequently left home alone for long periods of time, had been exposed to drug production in his home and did not have an attachment to any one adult.

Luke’s Story

Luke, aged four, was found alone in an empty room at home. He had been horrendously neglected and could barely speak.

Josh’s Story

Five year old Josh saw his mum brutally stabbed by his father – causing him to suffer horrific nightmares long after the family was safe.
