Families in the Gold Coast Intensive Family Support program were treated to a day out at the theatre these school holidays courtesy of the Arts Centre Gold Coast who generously donated more than 50 free tickets for local families to attend FLUFF: A Story of Lost Toys!
Families of the IFS program said it was a lovely experience and they enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and family friendly vibe.
Act for Kids Gold Coast Program Manager Miranda Bain said they were incredibly grateful to the Arts Centre for providing families with such a unique cultural activity on the Gold Coast.
The main outcome we work towards in our IFS service is bringing families together and keeping families together, so to be able to give some of our clients such a fun day out where they can enjoy themselves and not worry about the cost is a really wonderful thing, Miranda said.
